June 2025 Transits

Below you’ll find my Astro Calendar followed by some insights into this month. For personal horoscopes based on your own birth chart and timing you can book with me here (as soon as my books open again).

First Things First:

It’s important to note that transits do not affect everyone in the same way.

Planets as Time-Lords:

In predictive astrology, each zodiac sign has a ruling planet, and when a sign becomes activated (using sign-based techniques), that planet then becomes a lord for the highlighted period. By analyzing activated lords and their overall conditions, these lords help determine which transiting planets carry greater impact, whether their effects are favorable or challenging, and how they are likely to assert themselves according to the root (your birth chart). This is why anchoring transits to the birth chart is essential for better astrological analysis.

In the calendar below you’ll find all of June’s transits (I don’t include the outer planets because they’re not used in traditional astrological prediction, sorry to those of you who practice through a more modern lens) and Void of Course Moon’s + their durations.

Void of Course Moon’s:

If you’re unfamiliar with Void of Course (VoC) Moons, they’re periods when the Moon is in a transitional state—essentially “in limbo.” This occurs when the Moon makes its final major aspect to another planet before changing signs. After that last aspect, she’s considered inactive or at rest, no longer forming meaningful connections until she enters the next sign.

During these windows, life often mirrors that inactivity: plans stall, things drift or get canceled altogether. That’s why I often advised not to start or commit to anything important during a VoC Moon—projects initiated under this influence may unravel, lose momentum, or simply not unfold as expected.

That said, you can use VoC periods strategically. Sometimes they’re the perfect time to agree to something you’re secretly hoping won’t pan out (lol). Just be mindful and intentional—they’re not inherently “bad,” just liminal. Use them with discretion.

My Highlights for the Month:

First things first: the hellhole of the past few months is finally behind us. Saturn may have recently entered its fall in Aries for the next 2.5 years, but this month brings a much-needed shift in tone—Venus enters Taurus, its earthy domicile, where it can finally stretch out, get comfortable, and express its nature with ease and stability.

In Taurus, Venus delights in the pleasures of the physical world—comfort, finery, and indulgence. This is Venus at her most sensual and tactile: think touch, scent, taste, and visual delight. If you want to honor this transit, enjoy the fruits of your labor. Enjoyment is key. Stop and smell the flowers, treat yourself to brunch with a friend, splurge a little on those home accents you’ve had your eye on. Invest in what makes you feel good—I know I will (Venus will be transiting my 2nd house). These kinds of pleasures are not just expected during this transit; they’re supported and encouraged!

Now, for the second juicy highlight of the month (arguably of the year): Jupiter is finally leaving Gemini, where it’s been in detriment, and entering its exaltation in Cancer—a place of honor, ease, and expressive strength. Jupiter governs growth, generosity, and prosperity, and in Cancer, these themes take on a more compassionate, nurturing quality. Think grace, mercy, emotional wisdom, and protective care.

This year-long transit could reflect a cultural shift toward more empathetic leadership, greater focus on the well-being of communities, and a rise in faith, intuition, and moral clarity. You might notice teachers and mentors becoming more patient and understanding, or lawmakers emphasizing care and equity. It’s a welcome change from the scattershot noise of Jupiter in Gemini.

However, keep in mind Saturn in Aries will square Jupiter throughout its exaltation. So, while hope is absolutely on the horizon, it may not come easy. Many of the blessings Jupiter promises will require endurance, restraint, or delayed gratification. It’s a spiritual test of sorts: can we hold faith without immediate reward?

Later in the month, Jupiter will conjoin the Sun in what's called a cazimi—a moment when a planet enters “the heart of the Sun.” It’s during these alignments that a planet is said to be purified and reborn in solar light.

If this is your first time hearing about a cazimi, here’s a quick breakdown:

A planet is considered cazimi when it’s within 1 degree of the Sun. Though planets are usually weakened when they get too close to the Sun (a condition called combustion), cazimi is the exception. In this brief window, the planet is strengthened—infused with clarity, vitality, and purpose.

Think of it like dough going into an oven. As it nears the heat, it’s soft, unstable—easily collapsed. But when it’s right in the center of the oven (like the heart of the Sun) it begins to rise, transform, and gain structure. That’s cazimi. A brief, powerful moment of rebirth and potential.

And when the dough comes out? It’s stronger, but still tender—needing time to cool before it can truly serve its purpose. That’s the liminal nature of this process: breakdown, breakthrough, and becoming.

The Jupiter cazimi later this month could symbolize a collective reset—a cleansing of excess and error, a renewed vision for the future. Personally, I’m hoping it signals amendment to the many injustices we’ve seen in the U.S. legislature, and more broadly, a shift in world leadership toward empathy—especially in response to the ongoing devastation in Gaza. May this cazimi bring clarity and conscience to those in power. We’re long overdue for both.

I also hope this period brings serious reckoning with Israel’s occupation of Gaza and deeper compassion for the Palestinian people. Heaven knows we need it. The helplessness and desensitization running through society feels like a slow erosion of our humanity, and frankly I'm over it. Here’s to Jupiter’s exaltation delivering something different, may it remind us/the collective what empathy looks like as well as what justice demands.

Natal Implications:

On a different note, Venus’ and Jupiter’s changes are great news for folks with Taurus and earth placements, as well as Cancer and water placements (the trines are tea)—especially if your benefics (Venus or Jupiter) are your current timelords or simply rule prominent placements in your chart (Sagittarius, Pisces, Libra and Taurus).

It’s also a promising period for those with upcoming birthdays: late Gemini, Cancer, and Leo Suns, your solar returns are looking juicy. Take it as a cosmic nod—you’re definitely one of God’s favorites this year.

All that said, may June bring you blessings and happy Pride Month!
