The Astrologer

Astrology has become one of the ways I make sense of the world around me. What began as a personal interest grew into a practice that informs how I understand time, experience, and the patterns that shape our lives. Since 2018, I’ve been committed to studying astrology and the esoteric, not simply for the sake of knowledge, but because I find value in how it can help us understand ourselves and the world we participate in.Outside of astrology, I work as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting children with behavioral and communication needs. The work keeps me grounded and reminds me of the importance of meeting people where they are and honoring difference. I try to carry those same values into my astrological practice.As an astrologer, I study traditional astrology while approaching it through the realities of contemporary life. While I have an interest in psychological frameworks, I believe there is much more to astrology than personality or behavioral analysis. To me, astrology gives us a way of being in conversation with time. It allows us to observe the cycles we move through, understand the conditions surrounding us, and recognize how our individual experiences exist within larger patterns.Prediction is an important part of my practice, but I don’t see fate and agency as opposites. Astrology can tell us something about the currents we’re moving within while still leaving us with the question of how we choose to navigate them. I’m interested not only in what may happen, but in what becomes possible when we better understand the time we’re living through.My practice also exists alongside my love for curanderismo, magic, and spirituality. These interests have shaped the way I understand astrology as part of a larger relationship with the world, both seen and unseen. Whether I’m preparing a chart, crafting a talisman, or simply holding space for someone, I return to the same question: what helps us reconnect with what is real, meaningful, and alive?For me, astrology isn’t simply about predicting what happens next. It’s a practice of paying attention—of learning to recognize what is already unfolding and using that awareness to move through life with greater understanding and intention.
